Recordist.com is pleased to host a project, informally organized by members of the Audio Engineering Society Historical Committee, the AES Standards Committee, and several audio equipment manufacturers in the US and Germany, to make available interesting details from the "Braunbuch" listings of audio equipment used by German broadcasters from the days of the Reichsrundfunk (1925+) to the mid 1970's.

Some Braunbuch listings are already available online at the web site of the Institut für Rundfunktechnik (IRT) in Munich and more will be available soon.
