Ken McKim says:
"I am a technician with about thirty years experience as a chief technical engineer for major recording studios: RPM - NYC; Sigma - NYC; Bearsville - Bearsville, NY; Allaire Studios - Shokan, NY (presently). I've had extensive maintenance experience with Ampex equipment. Bearsville's initial tape machine compliment was all Ampex (1200, 440, 100), Sigma also used 100s. During the past twenty years I've maintained an independent consulting and repair business called Trouble Report. I service a broad line of mostly analog equipment including Ampex units."
